ROSEVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a Northern California woman was killed when her own SUV ran over her.

Roseville police tell the Sacramento Bee (https://bit.ly/1qlQlAO) on Thursday that 54-year-old Bernadette Ann Richardson had parked her Ford Explorer at a curb, left the engine running when she got out, and as she was removing her bike from the back the SUV rolled over her. It wasn’t immediately clear why the SUV rolled.

Richardson was knocked down and trapped underneath. She died Wednesday at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
