CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The First Lady of West Virginia will meet with girls in kindergarten through high school at a Girl Scout event.

Joanne Tomblin is set to meet with girls at the Girl Scout Volunteer Resource Center and Girl Zone on Tuesday.

Tomblin will discuss the importance of education, staying in school and volunteering.

The girls are also expected to discuss issues they are passionate about.
