CINCINNATI (AP) - More than 1,000 chamber of commerce executives from across the United States and Canada are expected for a 100th anniversary convention in Cincinnati.

The American Chamber of Commerce Executives began in Cincinnati in 1914 with the merger of two regional chambers. The group will gather this week for sessions that include talks by former Procter & Gamble Co. CEO John Pepper and Kroger Co. Chairman and former CEO Dave Dillon.

The four-day event will run from Tuesday through Friday.

The ACCE has more than 7,500 professional members in 1,200 chambers.

The convention’s host Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is marking its 175th anniversary this year.
