LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock have identified a man found fatally shot early Sunday as a local musician.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1upWWsN ) that police on Thursday identified the victim as 43-year-old Terry Edwards. His body was discovered in a carport Sunday.
Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said investigators were aware that Edwards name had been widely publicized, including events in his honor scheduled at some establishments he frequented.
Allen said authorities were fairly confident early on that Edwards was the victim, but could not announce it until they knew for sure on Thursday, four days after his body was found.
Allen says no arrests have been made in Edwards’ death and that police are working hard to develop a suspect in the case.
