SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Northern Indiana police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old woman whose body was found inside a South Bend bar hours after she attended a Christmas party there.

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Commander Tim Corbett tells WBST-TV (https://bit.ly/1x0a4cx ) that the owners of Chuck’s Tavern found the woman’s body inside the bar Sunday afternoon.

Corbett says the woman died at the bar following a Saturday night Christmas party held at that tavern for a local business.

South Bend police say the woman’s car was stolen from the bar. Officers are searching for that vehicle, which is described as a gold/tan Chevy Lumina with a White Sox plate on the front and a St. Joseph High School decal on back.
