The U.S. Navy has launched an investigation after it was revealed that women aboard one of its submarines were secretly filmed while nude.

A second class petty officer of the ballistic missile submarine Wyoming Gold Crew, based out of Kings Bay, Georgia, is the target of the the Naval Criminal Investigative Service’s investigation. He is accused of having widely disseminated the videos,  Navy Times reported Wednesday.

A source who spoke with one of the victims told the newspaper that at least three female officers were filmed undressed or while they were in the shower.

“The Navy became aware of the alleged criminal activity in November 2014 and promptly began an investigation, which is ongoing,” Lt. Leslie Hubbell, spokeswoman for Submarine Group 10 in Kings Bay, said in a statement, Navy Times reported.

The Navy plans to have 20 percent of the enlisted crew on seven of the 18 Ohio-class submarines composed of women by 2020, the newspaper reported.
