PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Relatives of a 20-year-old man injured in a New Year’s Eve hit-and-run in Portland are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

KATU-TV reports (https://is.gd/4wvs7q ) that investigators say Conor McMahon was walking on North Lombard with a friend when a man pulled up in a van and asked if they needed a ride. When they said no, investigators say the driver pulled away, made a U-turn and intentionally ran McMahon down.

He suffered a shattered pelvis, a broken nose and lost two teeth.

The vehicle was described as a medium- to dark-colored Dodge Caravan or similar model with two front doors and a rear slider. Police say it appeared to have a fare meter on the dashboard.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a maximum $1,000 reward. KATU says McMahon’s family is offering an additional cash reward.
