RADFORD, Va. (AP) - Jerome Hill pumped in 29 points, including the game-winning jumper, to lift Gardner-Webb to a 73-72 overtime win over Radford on Saturday.

In a tight contest that included several lead changes, Gardner-Webb (12-11, 5-3 Big South) overcame an eight-point second half deficit with an 11-2 run capped by a Tyler Strange 3-pointer that tied the score at 64 and sent the game into overtime.

Radford (14-9, 4-4) retook the lead in OT on a Jalen Carethers jumper, making it 72-71 with 42 seconds to play, but couldn’t stop Hill from sinking the game-winner.

Strange contributed 25 points for the Runnin’ Bulldogs, who now have won six straight conference road games and eight of the last nine, stretching back to last season.

Javonte Green and Carethers led Radford with 16 points each. Rashun Davis, who missed a layup at the buzzer in OT that could have won it, contributed 13 points.
