SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - Jarmar Gulley scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead red-hot Missouri State to a 74-61 win over Bradley on Saturday.

The Bears (15-7, 5-5 Missouri Valley) shot 56.8 percent for the game, including 11 of 25 from 3-point range with six different players connecting from behind the arc.

Austin Ruder had 13 points and Ron Mvouika 10 for Missouri State, which also hit 12 of 16 free throws.

Walt Lemon Jr. paced Bradley (9-14, 4-6) with 13 points and matched his career-high with eight assists. Omari Grier added 12 points, hitting 4 of 5 3’s.

After Lemon opened the scoring, the Bears reeled off 13 straight points, hitting three treys. Missouri Valley scored the last seven points of the half for a 33-28 lead. The Bears opened the second half with two layups before the Braves recovered.

It was a five-point game at the 8:38 mark.
