PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Five people are facing murder charges in the death of a 17-year-old Providence boy shot through the window of his girlfriend’s house.

High school student George Holland II was shot Feb. 4. Police have said they don’t believe the shooting was random.

Police said Monday that five young men are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, including one who is charged as a juvenile.

The adult suspects are held without bail after an initial court appearance Monday. They did not enter pleas and are due back in court Feb. 21. The juvenile is held until a hearing on Friday.

Police identified the older suspects as 18-year-old Alain Bedame of Pawtucket, 19-year-old Limamou Ndoye of Providence, 21-year-old Anthony Moore of Woonsocket, and 18-yeawr-old Ashner Alexis, whose address isn’t known. It’s not clear who is representing them.
