PHOENIX (AP) - Several people were stung when thousands of bees escaped from a truck at a truck stop in west Phoenix.

People in the area were told to seek shelter until a bee exterminator responded to control the swarm on Sunday.

Trucker Josh Call told KTVK-TV (https://bit.ly/1gmLJUM ) that he was walking to his truck when the bees attacked him.

Call says he went across the street but the bees followed and kept on stinging him on the face, neck, upper torso and arms.
