ALLENSTOWN, N.H. (AP) - Charges have been upgraded against a New Hampshire woman accused of stabbing another woman in an Allenstown park last month.

Eighteen-year-old Samantha Heath of Barnstead initially was charged with attempted first-degree assault. She now is charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Police said 18-year-old Andrea Halvorsen was stabbed 15 times. Police say the two women know each other.

Heath’s boyfriend, Kyle Buffum, has been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Both Heath and Buffum are being held on $500,000 bail. Their lawyers say both have waived probable cause hearings and that future court hearings have not yet been scheduled.
