SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Police say a woman was not injured when her car slid into the Selma Marina.
Officer Matthew Smyly tells the Selma Times Journal (https://bit.ly/1ejGpOO ) the woman was doing paperwork in her car near the water’s edge when the accident happened. She was parked on a sloped section of pavement. Smyly says the woman was preparing to leave when her car went into neutral and slid into the water.
Officials say the woman was momentarily trapped but was able to escape through a passenger side window.
