HOUSTON (AP) - Houston-area authorities say five teenagers have been arrested in separate carjackings that left two people with gunshot wounds.

Harris County sheriff’s officials say the five remain in custody Tuesday, including the only one charged as an adult, 17-year-old Christopher Do. He’s charged with burglary of a habitation and being held on a $60,000 bond at the Harris County jail.

The first carjacking occurred Feb. 7 when a man was shot in his driveway and his car taken. Authorities say he’s recovering from his wound.

The second incident occurred Feb. 10 when a woman was shot while loading items into her car. She also is expected to recover. Later that same day police responded to a burglary call and found two of the suspects inside a home. The three others were apprehended outside.
