NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - New Haven police are investigating the killing of a city man who was found shot in the head in a hallway of a multifamily home.

Authorities say officers responded to 911 calls reporting gunfire on Kossuth Street and found 22-year-old Kyle Edwards wounded in a first-floor hallway. He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they don’t have descriptions of suspects or vehicles that may have been involved.

Officials say Edwards lived on the second floor of the home.

The killing is New Haven’s fourth homicide of the year.
