RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Rapid City residents are invited to a Wednesday meeting to discuss replacement alternatives for the interchange at Interstate 90 and La Crosse Street.

The South Dakota Department of Transportation open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Ramada Inn is in collaboration with the Rapid City Metropolitan Planning Organization and the city.

The purpose is to inform residents of the alternatives being considered, to record any concerns and to gather ideas to help determine the future look of the interchange area. Replacement alternatives include modifications to the La Crosse Street corridor from Eglin Street to south of Mall Drive.

Separate meetings with business and landowners along the La Crosse Street corridor are also planned.
