GILTNER, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska authorities say a 29-year-old St. Louis man has been arrested for having 100 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Jean-Patrick Ounanian was arrested Monday afternoon along Interstate 80 in south-central Nebraska. Hamilton County Jail records say Ounanian remained in custody on Tuesday. Online court records don’t yet list the case.

The patrol says a trooper stopped Ounanian’s sport utility vehicle for failing to signal. The trooper reported finding the marijuana concealed in seven duffel bags in the SUV’s cargo area after being given permission to search the SUV.

Ounanian was alone in the vehicle.
