MARTINEZ, Calif. (AP) - Firefighters say two workers at the Tesoro refinery in Martinez were injured after being splashed with acid.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1ntZZ0g ) that the injuries occurred early Wednesday in a gasoline production unit.

Tesoro spokeswoman Tina Barbee says the production unit has been shut down while the cause of the acid release is under investigation.
