FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Two Fairbanks men have been arrested on felony drug dealing charges.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1hc9fIO) 21-year-old Ariston Nathaniel Thomas and 22-year-old Edward Simmons were taken into custody early Friday morning after authorities served a drug-related search warrant at their apartment.

Fairbanks Police Department Investigator Avery Thompson says law enforcement officers seized a variety of drugs including crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills and ecstasy.

Thompson says the amount of drugs seized were substantial, “especially for Fairbanks.”

Thompson said neither man had ties to Fairbanks. The case remains under investigation.
