BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Three people are accused of playing a role in the weekend shooting death of a man in his southwestern Illinois apartment.

Prosecutors in St. Clair County charged 26-year-old Amanda Kent of O’Fallon and 21-year-old Anthony Allen of Cape Girardeau, Mo., with first-degree murder. Twenty-four-year-old Brittney Moore of Belleville is charged with obstructing justice.

Authorities say 25-year-old Darrin Hayes died Sunday after he was shot five times in his apartment near Belleville.

Investigators haven’t publicly released a possible motive in the killing.

Online court records don’t show whether the three defendants have attorneys. They do not have listed home telephone numbers.
