TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Israeli ambassador and consul general to the New York area is scheduled to speak next week at the University of Tulsa.
The lecture by Ido Aharoni will be Monday afternoon in the Tyrrell Hall Auditorium on the TU campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
His lecture is titled, “Israel: Broadening the Conversation.” During the speech, Aharoni is to present new research on Israel’s image in the U.S. based on data compiled and analyzed by a research team.
As consul general, Aharoni represents the state of Israel to communities throughout the tri-state areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
He’s served as a member of Israel’s Foreign Services since 1991 and as senior adviser to Israel’s foreign minister and vice prime minister.
