JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have hired Dan Shamash as defensive quality control coach.

The move completes coach Gus Bradley’s coaching staff for 2014.

Shamash spent the past two seasons with Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his first as a coaching assistant and last year as quality control assistant to the head coach.

Shamash also served as an offensive assistant with the Cleveland Browns (2009-10). He was a defensive assistant with Columbia University in 2008 while also working in the game operations and special events department for the New York Jets.

Shamash was a three-year letterman as a linebacker at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was part of the school’s 10-0 record in the regular season.
