SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - San Jose police say a man was stabbed and killed after an argument inside a bar spilled onto the street.

Police were called to the scene in downtown San Jose around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday. Lt. Danny Acosta tells KTVU-TV the man was suffering from at least one stab wound. Rescuers performed CPR, but he died at a hospital.

Witnesses apparently pointed out the suspect leaving the scene, and he was arrested.

The suspect and the victim have not been identified.

It was not clear whether they knew each other or what the argument was about.
