CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a 77-year-old Chandler man missing since last weekend has been found safe in an area west of Tonopah.
Chandler police say a state utility worker found Donald Feiertag by his vehicle at about 11 a.m. Wednesday.
He had been missing since Saturday.
Police say it appears Feiertag’s car got stuck on an unmaintained road, but it’s unclear how long he had been in the Tonopah area.
They say Feiertag was coherent and conscious when found and was transported to a hospital for observation.
His family says he often drove from Chandler to Casa Grande.
