BRUNSWICK, Maine (AP) - Police have charged a Topsham teenager with firing a bullet through the window of a Brunswick home, causing a minor injury to a woman inside.

Eighteen-year-old Brenden Jasper was released on bail following his arrest on charges of reckless conduct, criminal attempt, criminal mischief and aggravated assault.

Police say Jasper fired a shot from .410-caliber shotgun from a vehicle into the home on Sunday night. Four people were inside.

A 20-year-old woman received a minor facial injury from flying glass.

Police say the shooting was in retaliation for an earlier incident, but did not elaborate. Jasper was allegedly targeting a male occupant of the home.

Jasper is scheduled to appear April 22 at Cumberland County Superior Court. He could not be reached.
