SUNDIAL, W.Va. (AP) - General traffic is moving again on a section of W.Va. Route 3 in Raleigh County that was closed in late December following a rock slide.

The Division of Highways says the road near Sundial reopened Tuesday evening.

Highways officials had allowed emergency vehicles to use the road while crews did cleanup and stabilization work. The road was closed to general traffic after three large boulders and debris fell from a hillside on Dec. 27.

The DOH says the road is in rough condition and the speed limit has been temporarily reduced to 15 miles per hour. Repaving is scheduled in the spring.
