GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - An ex-lunchroom aide accused of paying students to beat up a fourth-grader has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting delinquent acts.

The Grand Rapids Press reports (https://bit.ly/1eXTyTH ) that Brooke Wilson-Johnson’s plea to the misdemeanor charge came Friday during a settlement conference.

The 19-year-old is scheduled to be sentenced March 17.

Police have said two 9-year-old boys and a 10-year-old girl at Campus Elementary in Grand Rapids claimed they were each given $1 last fall to beat up the fourth-grader. Wilson-Johnson had denied the claim, but said the 9-year-old victim swore at her.

Grand Rapids Schools’ public safety office records show the victim says he was pushed, bumped, thrown out of his seat and had his food taken.

Wilson-Johnson was fired in October.
