SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Three teenagers have been charged in the armed robbery of a liquor store in Smyrna.

State police say two masked intruders, one armed with a handgun and the other carrying a backpack, entered Spruance City Liquors on Friday night. Police say they confronted the clerk and demanded money from the cash register, which the clerk put inside the backpack.

The robbers fled in a waiting vehicle, and a Smyrna police officer pulled over the car shortly thereafter.

Arrested were the 19-year-old driver, Branden Blackson of Smyrna, and two passengers, 18-year-old Dylan Wilson of Smyrna and 17-year-old Andrew Burns of Clayton. Burns was charged as an adult. All face charges including robbery and possession of a handgun during a felony.
