ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Four-year-old colt Peace and Justice led all the way and held off a late charge from favorite Di Giorgio to win the $65,000 Quasar Purse at Santa Anita on Friday night.

Ridden by Brice Blanc for trainer John Shirreffs, Peace and Justice went straight to the front in the turf mile for older horses, opening up a 10-length lead on Di Giorgio before winning by just a head in 1:32.36.

The winner paid $5.80, $3.40 and $2.60. Di Giorgio earned $3.20 and $2.40 and third-place Outside Nashville returned $2.60 to show.

Peace and Justice earned $39,000 for the victory, his third in five starts, taking his career bankroll to $125,728.
