BENTON, Ark. (AP) - Police say a woman in Benton was arrested after driving through one house and hitting a home next door before leaving the scene.

Benton police say 44-year-old Kay Skaggs of Benton told investigators she blacked out while driving early Monday, probably because of a health condition or medication she was taking.

No one was injured.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://is.gd/gxziwy ) Skaggs is charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief and leaving the scene of an accident.

Skaggs doesn’t have a listed phone number.

Police say Skaggs drove through one house on Village Drive and hit a parked van. She then hit support beams and the side of a second home. Officers followed a debris trail to locate Skaggs.

The woman told police she didn’t remember the accident.
