PITTSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a man found sleeping in his car on a frozen pond in Rensselaer County told troopers he had no idea how he got there, but that he had been drinking a lot of alcohol.
Troopers say Monday that 29-year-old Kyle Weed of Pittstown was charged with driving while intoxicated and released on a court appearance ticket.
Weed was treated for minor injuries at a Troy hospital.
