A South Carolina woman spent a night in jail last week for failing to return a Jennifer Lopez movie she rented in 2005.

Kayla Michelle Finley, 27, was arrested Thursday in Pickens County on a misdemeanor charge for failing to return the video, WYFF-TV reported.

Ms. Finley had rented “Monster-In-Law,” starring Lopez and Jane Fonda, from a video store, Dalton Videos, that is now out of business, Pickens County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Creed Hashe said.

The business’ owner had gone to a Pickens County magistrate at the time, who then issued an arrest warrant.

Chief Deputy Hashe said the woman was at the Sheriff’s Office on another matter when the warrant was discovered.

She spent Thursday night in jail and a judge issued a $2,000 personal recognizance bond Friday morning, WYFF reported.
