ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - Portions of Vermont’s Green Mountain Mall in St. Johnsbury are going to be closed a bit longer while repairs are made after it was flooded by a water main break.

Owner Mark Healy says cleanup work is continuing, but he thinks the mall could be open by the end of the month.

Healy tells the Caledonian Record (https://bit.ly/1j8OpYh ) renovations of the mall bathrooms are underway and he expects crews will soon be installing new flooring in the Kingdom Gymnastics space.

Much of the mall flooded after an underground water main broke two weeks ago.

Several stores are open for business including Ocean State Job Lots, JCPenney and Radio Shack. The Yankee Dollar Store is open, but only accessible from the outside.
