ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - An Anchorage man has been found guilty of fatally stabbing his neighbor.

KTVA reports (https://is.gd/ve5zcN) a jury returned a guilty verdict on a second-degree murder charge against 37-year-old Joshua Wagner on Wednesday.

Wagner was charged with stabbing his neighbor, 34-year-old Norman Dennis, nine times during an altercation in Dennis’ garage on Oct. 28, 2011.



Wagner had claimed self-defense in the attack that happened after the two men drank.

Sentencing was set for July 11.
