WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating a carjacking that involved a man armed with a club.

A man left his home on South Maryland Avenue in Wilmington on Tuesday evening and walked to his car. That’s when police say he was approached by a man carrying a club - possibly a bat or golf club.

Police say the man with the club demanded the keys to the car and when his victim complied, he drove off in the blue Honda Civic with Delaware registration 522939.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the carjacking to contact police.
