MILES, Iowa (AP) - A deadly snowmobile crash in eastern Iowa is being investigated.
The Dubuque Telegraph-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1eJWFcx ) one person died in the crash early Sunday near Miles, Iowa.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a snowmobile driver lost control while crossing from a field onto a street. The snowmobile struck a large pile of snow, and the driver was thrown into a pole.
The snowmobile driver’s identity wasn’t immediately released.
