NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - A 29-year-old North Platte man has been accused of stealing more than $3,400 from his employer.
Online court records say Robert “Robbie” Richards is charged with felony theft. Lexington radio station KRVN says (https://bit.ly/1oVVXkN ) Richards was arrested earlier this month after a manager at a Super 8 motel contacted police. Authorities say the manager suspected that Richards skimmed cash from customers’ room payments between Oct. 5 last year and Feb. 8.
Richards has bonded out of jail. A public phone listing for him couldn’t be found. His attorney didn’t immediately return a call Thursday from The Associated Press.
