RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are investigating a suspicious fire at an apartment house in Rutland.
No one was hurt in the fire early Friday morning.
The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1buntlE ) that fire broke out hours after police had made a drug arrest at the building.
David Covell , the policy adviser to Rutland’s chief of police, says police searched the home Thursday evening and arrested a woman on a charge of possessing crack cocaine.
The fire was put out by 9 a.m.
