SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Authorities in southeast South Dakota say a man has been arrested on charges related to providing alcohol to the two teenagers who died in a single-car crash earlier this month.
The prosecutor in Minnehaha County says 42-year-old Tyrone C. Gastineau was arrested Friday. His bond was set at $10,000.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Raphie Phan was driving a car south on 463rd Avenue toward 268th Street Feb. 16 when he lost control on a curve.
The car entered the median and rolled, throwing Phan and 19-year-old passenger Amanda Rose Doty from the car. Both were killed. The patrol says neither was wearing a seat belt.
The prosecutor says charges against Gastineau include furnishing alcohol to a person under 18 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
