PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Three girls in Pueblo have been cited for drug possession after being caught with marijuana at their elementary school.
Police say the girls were found with the marijuana at Ben Franklin Elementary School in late January.
Police say one girl told the school resource officer investigating the case that she brought it from home because “it’s legal and it’s cool.”
KRDO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1bTzlhP ) that a school district spokesman called the incident sad but did not discuss any punishment for the girls.
