DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - A man serving a sentence for a burglary conviction has been indicted on charges including aggravated murder in the 2013 stabbing death of an 81 year-old woman in southwest Ohio.

The Montgomery County prosecutor says 24-year-old Travis Burke was indicted Friday in Dayton on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and trespass in the slaying of Edith King of West Carrollton.

Burke is serving a two-year sentence at the North Central Correctional Institution in Marion for an unrelated burglary. Court records don’t list an attorney for him.

The prosecutor says King’s daughter found her mother fatally stabbed inside her home on April 8, 2013. Authorities say King was stabbed multiple times and her stolen car was later found at a Dayton housing complex.
