OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Vocal cord dysfunction is the topic of Monday’s Lincoln Science Cafe.
Dr. Vinay Mehta will discuss what vocal cord dysfunction is and how it is diagnosed and treated. He’ll also discuss the difference between asthma and vocal cord dysfunction and how it affects athletes.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Brewsky’s Food & Spirits, 201 N. 8th St. in Lincoln.
Science Cafes are free educational events sponsored by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and other groups to increase people’s science literacy. The cafes are open to everyone 21 and older.
