LAS VEGAS (AP) - The search for two missing boaters at Lake Mead has been scaled back.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area spokeswoman Christie Vanover says searchers in three boats took part in the effort Sunday and no ground or air searchers were involved.

She told KSNV-TV (https://bit.ly/MmKk6X ) about 100 searchers combed 30,000 acres by land, sea and air on Saturday.

Vanover says the search will resume Monday morning and crews will cover high-probability areas about seven to eight hours a day for the next week.

The two were among three fishermen reported missing by family members when they failed to return Thursday night.

A body found Friday about a half-mile from the party’s overturned boat near the shoreline was identified as that of 48-year-old Oscar Dixon Jr. of North Las Vegas.

The names of the other two boaters haven’t been released.
