CARRIERE, Miss. (AP) - The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department says somebody drove a truck into headstones at First Baptist Church of Carriere.

Neville Miller with Magnolia Monument Company is offering $500 for information leading to conviction of whoever did it.

He tells the Picayune Item (https://bit.ly/1enqzCU ) that one 1,500-pound headstone was dragged 30 feet.

Chief Deputy Shane Tucker says visitors reported the vandalism Friday morning.

He says he’s working with Crime Stoppers to increase the reward.

Tucker says tire tracks and other evidence can help identify the vehicle and suspects.
