GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Lucas Troutman scored 23 points to lead Elon to a dominating 78-49 victory over Furman Monday night.

Elon (18-11, 11-3 Southern Conference) started slow but had a 32-22 lead at the half and increased that to 42-24 at the 15:33 mark. Furman never got closer than 12 points from then on.

Elon has now won eight games in a row, tying its record as a Division I school set by the 2005-06 team that won the Southern Conference North Division title.

Jack Isenbarger, who made two 3-pointers, now holds the record for most career threes at Elon with 261, surpassing Chris Kiger who had 259. Furman hit 7 of 18 3-point attempts and was 32 of 59 from the field. The Phoenix outscored Furman in the paint 48 to 12.

Stephen Croone had 13 points for Furman (9-19, 3-12).
