CHICAGO (AP) - A man found shot to death inside a burning home on Chicago’s South Side last week has been identified as the security guard of area rap artist Twista.

The Chicago Sun-Times (https://bit.ly/1k4j4cq ) reports that authorities discovered that 31-year-old Danny Easterling had been shot in the throat and the chest after his body was pulled from the house early Friday.

The paper reports that Twista posted his condolences on Twitter and Instagram.

Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford says the fire started in the rear bedroom of the first floor apartment. The fire is being investigated by the fire department and the Chicago Police Department’s bomb and arson section. No arrests have been made.
