LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are investigating an apparent homicide at an apartment building on the city’s northeast side.

Police say they responded to a report of shots fired in the 2300 block of Sunrise Avenue about 5 p.m. Saturday.

Officers found an unresponsive man inside an apartment who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation indicates he may have had an argument with two unknown men prior to the shooting. No names have been released.

Anyone with any information about the crime is urged to contact police at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
