ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say they have arrested two people suspected of supplying illegal drugs.
Police on Friday arrested 35-year-old Timothy Edwards, who is charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance and weapons misconduct. They also arrested 51-year-old Michele Alto, who is charged with two drug counts.
Police say undercover officers on Thursday found a man in possession of heroin methamphetamine. In custody, he agreed to work as an informant.
Police on Friday coordinated a drug buy with the informant and afterward obtained a search warrant for Edwards’ home.
Police say they seized 10 guns, including two stolen weapons, plus 1.5 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and several grams of heroin.
Edwards remained jailed Tuesday. Alto was released on bail. Court records did not list an attorney for Alto.
