ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The manager of a North Texas shoe store has been slain during a robbery and police are seeking an armed suspect seen on security video.
Arlington police say the victim was gunned down Tuesday afternoon at a Red Wing Shoes store in a strip mall. Police on Wednesday released surveillance video of a person wearing a hooded sweatshirt, carrying a gun and pointing.
Sgt. Jeffrey Houston says the suspect appears to be a man but investigators are not certain.
The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released. The store video also shows a dog that police say belonged to the victim.
A spokesman says Minnesota-based Red Wing Shoe Company is working with law enforcement on offering a reward for information in the case.
