LAKE STEVENS, Wash. (AP) - An intruder shot during an apparent robbery attempt Tuesday night at Lake Stevens remains in a hospital Wednesday, and the Snohomish County sheriff’s office says he remains unidentified.
The sheriff’s office says two men were in the garage of a home when two masked men entered and attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
The homeowner’s friend grabbed a gun from his car a shot the one intruder. The other intruder ran away. The homeowner called 911.
